🌟 A Day at Nursery – What to Expect 🌟

👋 Morning Welcome
Your child will be greeted at the nursery door by one of our friendly practitioners with a warm smile to start the day right.

​

🎶 Starting the Day
Children head to their rooms for a fun wake-up song followed by daily affirmations, helping them feel calm, confident, and ready to explore.

​

👶 Baby Unit
Babies enjoy free-flow play between their main room and the messy room, exploring and learning through sensory play and movement.

​

🧒 Toddler & Pre-School Units
Children sign themselves in using a registration board, then join their key groups to begin a fun-filled session in their dedicated nursery environments.

​

🎨 Activities Throughout the Day
Children enjoy a variety of stimulating activities, including:
✔️ Arts & crafts
✔️ Playdough and messy play
✔️ Physical & imaginative play
✔️ Puzzles, games & stories
✔️ Science experiments
✔️ Small world and sensory exploration

​

🍎 Snack Time (10:00 AM & 3:00 PM)
Children enjoy snack time with their friends in a relaxed, social setting. Each child has the chance to be Snack Helper, helping staff hand out cups and bowls.

✅ Please provide two healthy snack options per snack time.

🌳 Outdoor Play
We love outdoor time! Children go outside every morning and afternoon, enjoying:
✔️ Obstacle courses & parachute games
✔️ Bikes, scooters & ball games
✔️ Climbing equipment
✔️ Sand/water play
✔️ Gardening — the children help care for our plants!

🥪 Lunchtime (11:45 AM)
Lunch is a lovely social time where children sit together and chat with friends.
 

You can either:
✅ Provide a healthy packed lunch
✅ Or choose a hot school meal from Zebedee’s

After a busy day of fun and learning, children gather for circle time, where they reflect, relax, and prepare to go home.
