Meet the Managers
My name is Becky Cogan, and I have worked in the childcare industry for over 20 years.
My journey began at Tots and Time Out Nursery in 1999 as a student, and through dedication and passion, I progressed to Nursery Manager by 2004. In November 2012, I had the incredible opportunity to purchase Tots and Time Out, followed by Bright Beginnings in August 2015.
I can truly say I’ve never looked back—I absolutely love my job. Every child who walks through our doors is unique and special, and it’s their curiosity, laughter, and growth that make my role so rewarding.
We pride ourselves on creating a warm, home-from-home environment where children are nurtured and cared for in beautiful surroundings, with high-quality resources and a dedicated, passionate team.
A little bit about me…
In my spare time, I enjoy being with my two daughters, taking our dog on long walks, discovering new places, going to the gym, staying active, and spending quality time with friends and family.
Hi my name is Hayley,
I am the baby unit supervisor and Assistant Manager.
I have been at the nursery since 2000 where I started off as a receptionist.
I love making the day fun and challenging supporting babies to reach their milestones in a safe and secure environment.
In my spare time I like to keep fit and spend time with my family.
Hi, I’m Ella Maxwell. I’ve been part of the Tots family since March 2021, starting as a newly qualified practitioner and proudly working my way up to my current role as Preschool Unit Supervisor and Deputy Manager.
From a young age, I’ve always known that I wanted to work in childcare. Supporting children as they learn, grow, and thrive is something I’m truly passionate about. Being a part of their development journey is incredibly rewarding—and there’s honestly nothing else I’d rather do.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my friends and family, and I also enjoy keeping active at the gym.
My name is Genna and I have been in the childcare industry since 2001.
I started my journey here at Tots in 2005 and have loved every minute of working here. It has become my second home and the staff have become like my second family.
I started as a key worker and throughout the years have had roles such as supervisor,Junior Deputy, deputy manager and since 2016 I have taken on the role of nursery Manager.
Childcare is my passion, they say when you find a job you love that you’ll never have to work a day in your life and never has a truer word been spoken.
Everyday I am greeted by smiles, cuddles and joy from the children and they truly make my job the most amazing job in the world.
It is an absolute pleasure to help prepare all the children who walk through our door ready for the next stage in life, although its always very sad to watch them leave us for ‘big school’ its also such a joy to see how much progress they make during their time with us.
A little bit about me
In my spare time I love to socialise with friends. I also love to travel to different places and explore different cultures, and on the days I’m not socialising or travelling I will be cosied up on my sofa reading a good book😊
