As early childhood professionals we encourage an environment in which young children can grow and develop physically, socially, emotionally and intellectually but most of all have fun whilst learning.
All staff within the Nursery are carefully selected for their ability to care for young children and their friendly approach. Each team member holds a valid enhanced DBS check and are continually vetted to meet Safeguarding requirements.
We believe in the importance of working together with parents/carers to provide the very best for every individual child in our setting. As a team we believe working with parents creates the best environment for children and we recognise parents as the child’s first educator therefore we really value the thoughts, information and support that they provide.
We pride ourselves in a highly qualified staff team which is fully supported by Becky the nursery owner who is heavily invested in the staff's professional development leading to a quality workforce providing enhanced care for your child.
The sessions at Bright Beginnings are filled with so much fun, and our energetic friendly team who care deeply about children are there to support your Childs every needs.

My favourite thing about my role is seeing the children happy and settled. Once settled we get down to business – PLAYING!!!. Play is so important and is how the children learn the most. When they are playing I love to get involved, I help to extend their play into learning and I do this with lots of fun activities including science experiments, yoga, painting, planting, real food play, role play – the list is endless. I know we have had a good day when I go home and my uniform is messy. I feel very lucky to come to work and play with the children.
A little bit about me...
I have worked within Tots Ltd for over 20 years. I honestly don’t know where the time has gone. I have loved every moment. I worked at Tots for 14 years before starting a family of my own and moving to Bright Beginnings in 2015.
I have 2 beautiful boys who are 4 and 6 and keep me on my toes when I am not at work. We love walking and exploring in the woods, rock pooling, beach days, bike rides – generally being outside!
I feel privileged to have worked at such wonderful nurseries for so long with some fantastic practitioners. I fully consider all the girls as a wonderful work family

I love working in the Toddler Unit and seeing all the children develop and get ready for our Pre-School. Everyday is different and unique with the Toddlers which makes working in the Toddler Unit so enjoyable.

I have worked in child care for 13 years and have been at Bright Beginnings since 2018.
In my spare time I enjoy watching football, going to see bands play and socialising with my friends.

A little bit about me...
After leaving school I went straight into college to study for my BTEC Qualification. I qualified in 2000 and most of my experience has been working with babies. I have 2 children and after having my first I joined Tots Nurseries in 2006 and I have never looked back.

I left college in 2019 knowing that Child Care was always my dream job. I feel so lucky to have been given this opportunity to pursue my career at Bright Beginnings. I am a very family orientated person and love going out with my family for walks and bike rides. I also enjoy spending time going out with my friends.

I work in the Baby Unit as a practitioner, I enjoy helping the babies develop independence and social skills. I enjoy ensuring the babies have a safe and secure environment where they learn and are cared for as if at home. I have worked in childcare for 20 years and genuinely love my job and building strong relationships with all the wonderful children.

I have 2 grown up children and love working with children. I have recently moved near to the beach where I enjoy long dog walks with my husband.

I am a keyworker in the Pre-School Unit.
